I happened to use a mixture of three beans (dried). Use whatever you like.

Ingredients

    Beans, white, 151.1 grams
    Beans, pinto, 151.1 grams
    Beans, red kidney, 151.1 grams
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 2 cup
    Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
    Chicken Leg, 2 leg, bone and skin removed
    Chicken Thigh, 2 thigh, bone and skin removed
    Onions, raw, 1 small
    italian blend seasonings including garlic or garlic powder
    course salt & pepper to taste

Tips

the longer it cooks in slower cooker the better. you almost can't burn food in the slow cooker as long as there is liquid.

Directions

soak beans in separate pan, rinse add to chicken stock and water.
add chicken parts - skin removed
add italian seasonings
let cook overnight (8hrs minimum for chicken to fall off bones)
add salt & pepper to taste.
