Combo Pizza Casserole (lo carb)

Introduction

I was making pizza caserole one night for my family and REALLY wanted in on the deal! So i reserved some of the meat and pulled out my weekly veggies and came up with this lil' dealo! I was making pizza caserole one night for my family and REALLY wanted in on the deal! So i reserved some of the meat and pulled out my weekly veggies and came up with this lil' dealo!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    8 oz (1/2lb) ground turkey (93%)
    1/2 C petite diced tomatoes (drained)
    1 C shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
    2 Bell peppers
    1 Orange peppers
    2 cups sliced mushrooms
    5 slices turkey bacon
    1/2C diced onion

Tips

Would taste great on muffin in a minute!!


Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Spray 8X8 casserole dish. Fully cook turkey and season to preference (I used italian seasoning). In the casserole dish, spread out tomatoes. Then layer 1/2 the cooked turkey meat on top. Next layer 1/3C cheese. Then 1/2 peppers, 1/2 the mushrooms.Lay down 1/3C of cheese, then the rest of the mean, the rest of the green peppers and mushrooms. Sprinkle with the last of the cheese, onions, and lay bacon across the top of the casserole. Cook for 45 min or until bacon is crisp
