Found a similar recipe on the "Libbys" web site. Pumpkin Pudding is what they call it. Calls for 1- 5/10 oz pack of pudding/ 15oz can of pumpkin/ 1tsp pumpkin pie spice/ 12oz can of evaporated milk. FF cool whip is optional. Makes 7 (1/2 cup) servings. Hope this is helpful - 4/28/09

This may be good if made correctly but the recipe is not clear. What size can do you mean and what size package of pudding? Did you actually use canned pumpkin or did you use pumpkin pie filling? I used pumpkin and it was thick as mud. I added a cup of milk but it was still pretty thick. Help! - 6/29/08

Sounds good! I like to mix pumpkin with SF/FF cheesecake pudding too. I made a trifle of this layered with spice cake, Cool Whip free, and pecans last fall. It was a big hit. - 6/14/08

For those saying it is too thick...obviously you prepare the pudding with the normal amount of milk first THEN mix in the pumpkin and spices ;)

    This is delicious, BTW :) - 9/10/09

This is so good. I actually lost weight over Thanksgiving thanks to this dessert. Instead of pumpkin pie I ate this. It has all kinds of nutritional value thanks to the pumpkin. Lots of vitamin A. The recipe is a little different. It is from Weight Watcher's. It is so easy and convenient. - 4/28/09

I love pumpkin and expected to love this, but it just didn't do it for me. Lots of after taste for me, but my husband disagreed and liked it so the rating comes from just me ;-) Maybe it was my pumpkin pie spice mix? Not sure but probably won't make again. Happy cooking all! :-) - 3/24/09

Haven't tried it yet.. but it sounds good. QUESTION...do I make the pudding according to box instructions and then add pumpkin to it? or do i just blend pumpkin and pudding mix together. Second question: what sized can of pumpkin???? - 6/12/08
