Ankake tofu

Introduction

Soupy tofu and turkey goodness! Soupy tofu and turkey goodness!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    -2 carrots

    - handful of green beans

    - 1/2 yellow onion

    - water to fill 1/2 or 1/3 pan

    - large handful of fish flakes

    - 1/3 package of ground turkey

    - 1 package of soft tofu

    - 1 tbsp brown sugar

    -2 tbsp soy sauce

Directions

1. Dice all veggies
2. Boil water with fish flakes to get dashi
3. Take flakes out when boiling and add veggies and turkey
4. As it cooks remove white build up from turkey
5. Add sugar and cook for ten to fifteen minutes till veggies are soft
6. Add cubed tofu and soy sauce and more water if needed
7. Add mixture of a little cornstarch and water and cook for about 3 minutes or until tofu is warm

Serving Size: About 6 small bowls
