Artichokes with Garlic

If you like artichokes, try this. Much better then serving with with butter. If you like artichokes, try this. Much better then serving with with butter.Number of Servings: 3
Ingredients
Artichokes, fresh, 3 artichoke, medium
Garlic, 15 cloves
Parsley, dried, 3 tbsp
Salt, 1 tsp
Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz)
Tips
add more garlic if you like or less. Add pepper corns and extra garlic cloves( whole) to the water
Directions
cut off top of artichokes and the stem so it stands.
cut off the pointed end of each leaf.
Rinse and open the leaves then drain
Make a paste of the garlic salt pepper and parsley
Spread the paste over the the top of the artichoke. Push some of the paste in between the leaves.
Place the artichokes in the slow cooker
Drizzle the olive oil over the top of the chokes
Start with hot water and pour over the top filling the slow cooker so it's half way up the choke.
Cover and steam on high till tender.
3-4 hours.
The longer they cook the more tender and the tastier
