Hot sandwiches

Submitted by: CORNELIA891

Introduction

These bars are a great choice for an endurance athlete. They are easy to make and very tasty. They are high in carbs and in protein. It also has some fiber, so I wouldn’t suggest it before a game. This sandwich would be best in the 30 min window after the event. These bars are a great choice for an endurance athlete. They are easy to make and very tasty. They are high in carbs and in protein. ¾ cup feta cheese
    3 eggs (beat well)
    ¼ tsp. salt

    1 Tbsp. butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 400. In a large bowl, mix the diced smoked turkey, mozzarella, feta cheese, beated eggs, salt, pepper, and olives. Use the 1Tbsp of butter to grease a 9x9 pan. Then take the 8 slices of bread and place in the pan that has been buttered. Then take the mixture and spread out evenly on each slice of bread. Place in oven for 15-20 min and it will be ready to eat.
