Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 Cup black beans
    1 Cup red kidney beans
    1.5 Cup pinto beans
    1 Cup canned tomatoes
    1 Cup cooked brown rice
    1 Cup corn
    1 Cup water

    season to taste with: chili powder, cumin, chopped onion, garlic powder or minced garlic, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of cloves.

    start out with 1 Tbsp each of chili powder and cumin. if you want more, add another. all other spices should be about 1/2-1 tsp amounts

Tips

i love this recipe because it is cheap, easy, healthy, and tasty!


Directions

throw all ingredients into a big pot and simmer for about 40 minutes. season with spices about halfway through. taste at the end to see if it still needs anything.
