Anna's Chili

Introduction

Just good old fashioned chili! Just good old fashioned chili!
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Ground beef
    Tomato paste
    Crushed tomatoes
    Jalapeno and Poblano peppers, roasted
    Onions
    Kidney beans
    Celery
    Garlic

Directions

I saute my onions, garlic and celery first until tender then add the ground beef. Brown your beef and drain the excess fat. Roast jalapeno peppers in the oven until they are dark and a little bit dried out ( I also use poblano peppers). Mince them and add to meat and veggie mixture. Now add tomatoes and tomato paste and also add 2 cups of water. You might need more water depending on how thick your chili is and how you like it. Next add your kidney beans. Simmer chili for one hour.
