Peanut Butter Honey Bars

Introduction

These are a great and popular snack, made healthier by being sweetened with honey and fortified with protein powder. Easily gluten and dairy free too. These are a great and popular snack, made healthier by being sweetened with honey and fortified with protein powder. Easily gluten and dairy free too.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3/4 cup Peanut Butter
    1/2 cup Honey
    4 Tbs. Protein Powder(optional)
    4 Tbs. any flour(I use rice or peanut; if you omit the protein powder, double this ingredient)
    1 cup coconut(optional)
    3-4 cups crisp brown rice ceral(4 cups if no coconut)

Directions

- Mix together the first four ingredients in a large bowl. Microwave on high about one minute, until soft and easily stirred. Pour in the coconut and cereal; stir well until completely incorporated. Place in a 9x9 pan sprayed with cooking spray. With your hand inside a sandwich bag or using plastic wrap or wax paper, press down well until it is solid feeling. Freeze or refrigerate to harden; enjoy! 12-24 servings depending on how you cut it.
