CHEESY ORIENTAL CHICKEN AND VEGETABLE BAKE

Introduction

WONDERFUL ONE DISH MEAL THAT EVERYONE LOVES. WONDERFUL ONE DISH MEAL THAT EVERYONE LOVES.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9X13 in baking dish.

    Prepare rice according to package directions. Arrange boneless skinless chicken in pan. Salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with garlic. Sprinkle with Chinese 5 spice powder. (Not found in data base) In a large mixing bowl, mix thawed vegetables, (I used Birds Eye Oriental Blend) rice, reduced fat soup and sour cream. Chop onion and green pepper and mix with other ingredients. Add Hoisin sauce and Sriracha sauce ( or any hot sauce). Mix well and spoon over chicken thighs. Place in oven and bake for 1 hour uncovered. At end of hour, test chicken with long fork for doneness. Add the 2 cups of cheese to top of casserole and return to oven until cheese is golden brown and casserole is bubbly - about 15 to 20 more minutes.

Tips

This is wonderful but healthy comfort food.

Directions

Preheat oven. Prepare rice. Mix all other ingredients except cheese. Place casserole in oven for 1 hour. Top with cheese and place back in oven until cheese is melted and golden brown.
