Introduction

This is a great tasting, very filling meal. This is a great tasting, very filling meal.

Ingredients



    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    Cloves, ground, 2 tbsp
    Chili powder, 2 tbsp
    *Cumin seed, 1 tsp
    Stewed Tomatoes, Canned, No salt, 3.5 Cup
    Beans, pinto, 2 cup
    *sweet yellow onion, raw (1 medium onion), 1 serving
    *Green Chile (diced), 1 serving
    Tomato Paste, 0.25 cup

Tips

This recipe easily doubles, and can be frozen for later use!


Directions

In nonstick skillet, cook beef and garlic over medium heat, stirring with wooden spoon to break up meat until browned; drain. Add chili powder and cumin. Stir to combine.

Combine tomatoes, beans, onions, chilies, and tomato paste in crock pot. Stir in beef mixture. Cover and cook on high until all flavors are blended (4-5 hours).

Serving Size: makes five 1-cup servings
