MS EDF Split Pea Soup

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 c split peas
    3 diced potatoes
    7 diced carrots
    2 diced onions
    4 stalks diced celery
    1 tsp thyme
    4 qt (16 c) water
    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Wash peas, add to very large pot with all other ingredients. Cook about 1 hour until smooth and tender.

Serving Size: makes 8 2.5 (+) cup servings
