Rich vanilla cookies

Ingredients

3 C white flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 C sugar
1C softened (room temperature) butter
1 egg, large or extra large
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions
Preheat to 375 degrees F.
In a bowl big enough for all the dough, mix the "wet: ingredients:
Mix egg, sugar, butter until blended evenly. Add vanilla.
Mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder (or put a tsp in the first cup of flour and a tsp in the 2nd cup of flour.
A cup at a time add the flour to the wet mix and combine until dough ball forms.
When the all the flour is in, separate the dough into maybe 3 balls to roll it out.
Roll to 1/8" for cutting Bake for 6 to 8 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes 50 cookies 2.75 inch
