Healthy Granola Bars

Ingredients

    1-1/5 c. Arrowhead Mills puffed kamut
    1-1/5 c. Arrowhead Mills puffed wheat
    3 c. old oatmeal, old fashioned
    1 c. ground chia seeds
    1 c. sliced almonds
    1 c. peanut butter, old fashioned
    1/2 c. honey or agave syrup


Directions

Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
Spray a 13 X 9 baking pan with vegetable spray.
In a large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. In a small pan melt peanut butter and honey, stirring to combine. Add peanut butter mixture to oatmeal mixture, and mix until the cereal is coated. Put into baking pan, and with wet hand, spread and compact evenly.
Place pan in oven and bake until golden brown (about 20-30 minutes). When done, remove from oven to cooling rack. Cool for 5 minutes. cut into 24 bars.
