1 lb broccoli or 2 10-ounce pkgs frozen cut broccoli
2 cups frozen small whole onions or 3 medium onions quartered
1/4 cut butter or margarine
2 tbs all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup milk
1 3-oz package cream cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp American cheese (2-oz)
1 cup soft bread crumbs
Place vegetables in a 1/2 quart casserole. Pour sauce mixture and and mix lightly. Top with American or shredded chedder cheese; toss with bread crumbs. Sprinkle atop casserole. Bake at 350 dagrees till heated through.
