1 c crisco shortening, 1/2 c sugar, 1 t salt
Add 1 cup boiling water
Then add 1 c lukewarm water that has 2 pkgs of dry yeast added/mixed in
Add 2 beaten eggs and 6 cups flour (hand mixed in)
Mix together and cover with warm wet dish towel for 4 hours or overnight in the fridge.
Can make rolls by pulling off small tangerine size pieces of dough and forming into a ball or can make croissant rolls by rolling dough out on floured board, spreading with butter, cutting into pie shaped wedges and rolling up from big end to small end.
When done forming rolls, put on greased cookie sheet to rise for 1 hour. Bake until lightly browned, about 10 min in 350* oven.
Great for holidays or for leftover turkey, ham sandwiches.
