Misty's Sesame Parmesan Chicken

Introduction

Baked Chicken Breast with a seasoned "crust" Baked Chicken Breast with a seasoned "crust"
Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    3 (4oz) Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
    3 Tbsp. Parmesan Cheese
    3 Tbsp. Sesame Seeds
    1 1/2 Tsp Italian Seasoning (parsley, oregano..)
    1 Tbsp. Garlic Salt OR 1 Tsp Garlic Powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 400*
Combine all ingredients except Chicken in shallow dish, so that they are blended well. Dip chicken in the mixture, coating both sides. Place on cookie sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Bake at 400* for about 15 minutes, turn each breast and continue to bake an additional 15 minutes. Chicken should be nicely golden brown and no longer pink inside.

  • I LOVED this. It was really flavorful and crispy! It was also so easy to adapt to cooking-for-one. Great! I added in some cayenne pepper, cinnamon, and ginger (just dashes!). It was delicious with my whole wheat penne. :) - 2/24/11
