IntroductionYou have got to try this. Its a little high in fat and calories but I cut the sugar in half and use lowfat milk.

1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 stick unsalted butter
4 cups mashed sweet potato (no skin)
1.5 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup milk
1 cup pecans
1/2 cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
Bake sweet potatoes (instead of boiling) for tastier filling.
Pour into buttered 13 by 9 inch casserole dish.
Combine topping ingredients until well blended and sprinkle generously over sweet potato filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
