Lower Cal Snickerdoodle Bread

Number of Servings: 8


    1 1/4 c white flour
    1 c sugar substitute
    1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 c butter
    1/2 c egg substitute
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 c pecans or walnuts
    1 tblsp cinnamon
    1 tsp cinnamon and sugar mix


This doesn't rise much. Could substitute carob chips for nuts.


Cream sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt in separate bowl and then blend into creamed mixture. Stir in nuts and pour into greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar mix. Bake 25-30 minutes.

Serving Size: makes 8 slices
