Introduction

I increased the onion and used fresh mushrooms vs. canned to lower salt and add fresh ingredients. Also replaced full fat soup with reduced fat soup and replaced reduced fat sour cream with fat free Greek yogurt. I added the Worcestershire sauce to give back the zing lost by taking out sour cream. Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef drained of excess fat
    1/2 tsp garlic powder
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can reduced fat mushroom soup
    1/2 cup fat free Greek yogurt
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms sliced
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste

Tips

The changes I made cut the fat and sodium nearly in half


Directions

Brown ground beef in skillet add mushrooms. Add in onion and garlic cook together for 3 min. Add in remaining ingredients bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes with lid on. The wonderful thing about this recipe is that EVERYTHING can be toyed with. Make it your own and enjoy.
