1 pound lasagna noodles 1 pound ground hot italian sausage 1 pound lean ground beef 2 pounds shredded mozzarella cheese 3 24 oz jars Classico pasta sauce 2 15 oz containers ricotta cheese
Divide into 6 the long way, divide into 4 the short way, yields 24 servings approximately 2 1/4 x 2 1/4.
Brown sausage and hamburger, add 3 24 oz. Jars of Classico pasta sauce. Add oregano and basil to taste, bring to a simmer. Meanwhile, boil about 5 quarts of water in large saucepan. Add 1 tbs olive oil, then add noodles (I cook 6 noodles at a time). Prepare a 13 x 9 pyrex baking dish with cooking spray, then put in a thin layer of meat sauce. Top with 6 noodles (boil noodles 8 to 10 minutes). Microwave ricotta for about 90 seconds, then spread thin layer over noodles, followed by another layer of meat sauce, followed by a generous layer of shredded mozzarella. Repeat to make 3 noodle layers, etc. bake in a 350 degree oven for 2 hours, or until browned and bubbly. Enjoy!
