4 (1/2 pound) trimmed sirloin steaks (can use other cuts - but nutrtitional info will likely change)
1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle stout beer (Guinness or Murphy's)* (Note - this is for the marinade, so the majority will be left behind. Plus, one can is for 4 servings)
1 clove crushed garlic
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 cup low sodium beef stock
1/2 teaspoon dried sage
2 teaspoons dried minced onions
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Preheat the oven to broil. Cook steaks to desired doneness.
