Ingredients
-
1 1/2 pound ground beef
1 lb. cooked medium shell pasta
1 can tomato sauce
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can water
1 cup shredded cheddar
2 tablespoons chili powder
salt & pepper to taste
Tips
I top with some extra cheese so exposed noodles don't become hard. Can be modified: use chicken instead of beef, cream of chicken soup instead of mushroom, swiss or asiago instead of cheddar, and I'd add peas to that version. Here, I've used regular fat/salted soup, but there are lower sodium/fat soups on the market.
Directions
Mix it all together in a 9x13 Pyrex dish and cook it for about 30 minutes on 350.
Serving Size: Makes a 9X13 pyrex dish full; or 12 servings.
