Introduction

Very basic lentil soup. Very basic lentil soup.
Number of Servings: 9

Ingredients

    2 cups dry Lentils
    8 cups water
    3 packets Maruchan Seasoning Packets

Tips

I like it just like this but it can be put through a blender to make a smooth soup. It can also be cooked in a crock pot for 4 to 6 hours.


Directions

Rinse lentils. Combine lentils, water, and seasoning packets in a large stock pot. Bring to boil. Turn down heat and simmer until lentils are soft. It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 6 hours depending on how old the lentils are, altitude, if you use a crock pot, and other variables.

Serving Size: Makes 9 1-cup servings
