"I don't have any eggs!" Cornbread

Introduction

I didn't have any eggs on hand and modified a recipe found on another site to fit my pantry's needs. I didn't have any eggs on hand and modified a recipe found on another site to fit my pantry's needs.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    *Whole Wheat Flour, 1 cup
    Yellow Cornmeal, 1 cup
    Baking Soda, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Brown Sugar, .5 cup, packed
    Milk, 1%, 1 cup
    Applesauce, unsweetened, 1 cup
    *Canola Oil, .25 cup

Directions

1.) Preheat oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a 12 cup muffin tin.
2.) Combine dry ingredients in bowl. Mix wet ingredients together and add to dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
3.) Portion batter into muffin tins evenly and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Remove and enjoy!
