1 can (12.5oz) tuna in water, drained 4 small (4" dia) whole wheat pitas 4 T red onions, diced 2 T mayonnaise 2 cups shredded lettuce salt, to taste fresh pepper, to taste
Mix drained tuna, mayonnaise, red onions, salt and pepper together in a bowl. Set aside. Broil the pitas in the oven until they start browning. (This is just to make it a little crispier so the pita can hold up the toppings.) Top each pita with 1/2 cup of the shredded lettuce and then 1/4 of the tuna mixture. Enjoy.
