Keep a close eye on the popovers after the first 20 minutes, as they tend to brown quickly.
Preheat oven to 450. Grease popover pan or large muffin pan. Mix together first 4 ingredients just until combined (about 20 seconds with hand-mixer). Add butter, and mix in (about 10 seconds with hand-mixer) Pour 1/3 cup into each prepared cup. Bake for 20 minutes. Popovers should be puffed and lightly browned at this point. Lower temperature to 350 and bake another 5-15 minutes until golden.
