Sister Sharon's Soup

Introduction

This is a very warm and comforting soup to enjoy when it is cold and nippy outside. This is a very warm and comforting soup to enjoy when it is cold and nippy outside.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 large bottle of V8Vegetable Juice-I use low sodium
    1 can cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 cn Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 # of lean ground meat
    1 small bag of frozen Vegetables

    this is very easy to adjust for a crowd and this is a crowd pleaser!

Tips

I add fresh or canned mushrooms at times


Directions

In soup pot add V-8 and the cream soups--
Use imersion blender to mix well.
Start to warm the V-8 mixture while you brown the ground meat. You want to take the pink off the meat and not brown-crisp. I drain and do a quick hot water rinse to remove extra fat before adding this to the V-8 pot. After the meat is in the pot add a bag of frozen veggies (I use the bag with green beans, corn, carrots, etc)
