Ingredients

    1 large egg
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/2 cup of dry breadcrumbs, plain
    2 tbsp. dried parsley
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp sage, ground/rubbed
    1.25 lbs of ground turkey breast (99% lean)

Tips

If you like your meatloaf double sauced, spoon on additional Versatile Topping 30 minutes before done.


Directions

Make Versatile Topping first.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Wisk egg and milk together in large bowl. Stir in bread crumbs, parsley, salt and sage. Let sit 2 minutes (enough time for the breadcrumbs to absorb the liquids.) Add ground turkey breast and mix thoroughly. Place on a rimmed cookie sheet lined with easy release aluminum foil. Mold meat mixture into loaf form. Spoon on topping. Place in oven for approximately 1 hour or until internal temperature reaches 170 degrees.

Serving Size: Makes 6-8 servings
