Ingredients

1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
1 can diced tomatoes, any style
1 can frijoles
1 can vegetable or chicken broth
Tips
Lower the sodium in this recipe by using no-salt-added vegetables.
Add spices such as cumin or chili powder, or greens such as spinach, if desired.
May be topped with tortilla strips, grated cheese, chopped cilantro, a dollop of sour cream or yogurt, or a spoonful of salsa.
Serve over a scoop of brown rice if desired.
