Veggie Pizza

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    12" packaged pizza crust usually found on the Italian Isle
    1 small jar of classico basil pesto sauce in oil
    1 small can tomato paste
    1 jar of pizza sauce
    1 medium red onion (sliced)
    1 cup or so of fresh mushrooms (sliced)
    1 Red or Green Bell Pepper (sliced)
    1 Zuchinni Squash (sliced)
    2 or 3 TBS of minced garlic ( the kind in the jar)
    Sliced Mozerella Cheese

Tips

I use different fresh vegetables, I look through the refrigerator and try to use on hand


Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees ( I place my pizza stone in the oven while it is pre-heating)..slice all vegetables, heat EVOO in skillet, saute all vegetables, I like to cook until they start to brown. While they are cooking, I mix pizza sauce, pesto together and cover top of pizza crust, add sauteed vegetables and sprinkle lightly with cheese, bake for 8-12 minutes depending upon how crispy you like your crust

Serving Size: Makes one 12 inch pizza however using a jar of pizza sauce and can of tomato paste plus pesto to taste can make 2 or 3 pizzas depending on how much sauce you like
