Sliced Almond Bark

Introduction

Ingredients

    3 large eggs

    3/4 cup granulated sugar

    1/2 cup all purpose flour

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

    1 cup sliced almonds


Tips

Keep cookies in an airtight container to keep crisp.


Directions

By hand, beat 3 eggs in a medium size bowl.

Add 3/4 cup sugar until well mixed. Add 1/2 cup flour and thoroughly mix. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.

Using a rubber spatula, gently fold in 1 cup sliced almonds.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate batter for 30 minutes or longer.

Lay out parchment paper on 2 large cookie sheets.

Spread batter evenly on parchment with rubber spatula. You will spread each sheet out as one large cookie sheet. Sheet will be paper thin.

Bake at 250 for 30 minutes or until golden brown.

Slide the parchment paper off of the cookie sheet and allow entire cookie to cool on a flat surface.

Once the sheet is cool, peel the parchment paper off and break each ccokie sheet into around 18 pieces.
