Beef and Tomato Soup

Ingredients

    12 oz beef stew meat
    1 cup chopped onions
    3 cloves minced garlic
    2 cans (14.5 oz) diced, no salt added tomatoes
    4 cups low sodium beef broth
    1 cup dry red wine

Directions

In a saute pan, lightly sear beef. You don't have to cook it all the way through, just enough to seal in the flavor. Put it in a slow cooker with all the rest of the ingredients. Let it cook on low for eight hours. You can enjoy it with some cheesy garlic bread or just as is.
