These are smaller but dense My version of a scone! :)
These are smaller but dense
1 1/8 C White Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/8 C All Purpose Flour
1/2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 C Plain Greek Yogurt
1/8 C Canola Oil
1 Tsp. Salt
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 C. Nestle Dark Chocolate Morsels
3/4 C. Chopped Walnuts
Preheat oven to 350F.
Mix together eggs, brown sugar, applesauce, greek yogurt, canola oil, bananas and vanilla extract all together.
Slowly add flour, salt, and baking soda.
Add in Chocolate chips and walnuts.
Make sure everything is mixed very well. Scoop into heaping tablespoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake @ 350F for 8-9 minutes.
Serving Size: Makes 34 2-3" Scones
