2 cups lentils
0.5 cup brown rice
2 cloves of garlic
1 jar/box of tomato sauce
Is perfect with (soy) yoghurt.
Boil them in salted water for 15-30 minutes.
Add rice and let it cook for 10 more mintutes.
Add the carrot (grated) and the onion (chopped),the garlic, tomato sauce and seasonings.
When carrots tender and rice cooked, remove from heat and leave it aside for a while for the sauce to bind.
Serving Size: makes 6 1 cup serings.
