Introduction

Crock pot these veggies for a delicious side dish Crock pot these veggies for a delicious side dish
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    2 cups cubed turnips
    1 cup chopped onions
    2 cups thick sliced carrots
    2 cups chayote squash (usually by latin produce, resembles a green pear)
    2 cups chopped green peppers
    1 T olive oil
    1/2 t salt
    1/2 t pepper
    1 T cumin seed OR 1 t ground cumin

Directions

baste inside of crock pot with olive oil, add veggies and seasonins, toss to coat. Add 1/4 cup water and cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 10 half cup servings
