5 cans Navy beans, drained and rinsed
1 medium to large yellow onion, finely chopped
1T canola oil
3/4 c ketchup
3/4 c maple syrup
3 T mustard
6 T molassas (originally used 5T plus 3 T brown sugar)
1 t salt (or more to taste)
3/4 t finely ground black pepper
Place navy beans and sauteed onions in crock pot.
Combine all remaining ingredients well, add to crock pot, and stir well.
Cook on high for 1 hour, then on low for 3 hours.
Serving Size: 1/2 Cup
