Introduction

Warm homemade chicken and dumplings with homemade broth. Warm homemade chicken and dumplings with homemade broth.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    Whole Chicken, boiled and boned
    3 Large Carrots, cut
    1/4 white onion, sliced
    1 can Cream of Chicken soup
    2 cans biscuits
    Poultry seasoning
    Parsley, dried
    salt and pepper

You can make your own biscuits from scratch.

Directions

Boil whole chicken in enough water to submerge bird. Add carrots, onion, and salt to water. Cook until leg of chicken feels like it comes off easily. Remove all meat from chicken and add back to broth. Add can of Cream of Chicken soup. Stir until mixed. Add seasonings to liking. Open biscuits and for each biscuit, roll 4 dumpling balls and drop into soup. Cook until biscuits are done throughout (approx 10 min). Enjoy!
