IntroductionI made a basic recipe for Kasha and then sauteed some veggies to add to it to make a pilaf. Delicious! I made a basic recipe for Kasha and then sauteed some veggies to add to it to make a pilaf. Delicious!
1.5 cups Kasha
3 cups boiling water
2 pinches sea salt
1 Tbsp. oil
3 large stalks of celery, chopped
1 cup grated carrots
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 can Red Gold petite diced tomatoes with garlic and olive oil
1 can diced green chiles
Do NOT add Kasha to cold water or it will get mushy. You can add whatever veggies you would like to make it your own recipe.
Serving Size: Makes 6 servings
