Poppy Seed Cake

Ingredients

    Cake - Part 1
    2 eggs
    1 cup milk
    3/4 cup oil
    1 Tbsp poppy seeds
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp almond extract

    Cake - Part 2
    2 cups flour
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp baking powder

    Glaze
    2 Tbsp orange juice
    6 Tbsp sugar
    1/8 tsp vanilla
    1/8 tsp almond extract

Directions

Grease and flour bundt pan. Sift dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix and beat for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan and bake for 1 hour at 350. Top of cake should crack. Let cake cool about 10 minutes before turning out of pan. Heat glaze ingredients to boiling, stirring constantly. Pour glaze over hot cake.
