Becky's Protein Shake Base Mixture

Introduction

This is the base mixture for all my protein smoothies. I alternate the things I add such as yogurt, frozen or fresh fruit. and sometimes Hershey's Special Dark Cocoa Mix. With this mixture I always know where I am starting from calorie wise Sometimes I use a different almond milk too changing the nutrition value. This base stays the same however. Ingredients

    *Publix Quick Oats (uncooked), 0.25 cup
    *Jillian Michaels Natural Whey Protein - Vanilla (1 scoop)
    *Jello Sugar Free Fat Free Pudding, unprepared, cheesecake flavor, 1 serving

Tips

This helps me get ahead, I usually spend a morning making 4 or 5 days worth of the base , and keep them in separate containers so when I am rushing @ 5 am to make my smoothie I don't have to measure all these ingredients out. I use a single size blender so the almond milk is measured in that, and the only thing I have to measure is any fruit (or cocoa powder if adding that day)


Directions

I add the oatmeal to a coffee grinder and grind until a fine powder then I mix all the other ingredients. then put in a storage container until ready to use. If making that day just add to the blender with other ingredients

Serving Size: This base mixture is what I use and makes 1 16 oz or two 8 oz smoothies when other ingredients are added.
