Grab and go breakfastGrab and go breakfast
Number of Servings: 8
Ingredients
-
*Pillsbury Pillsbury Reduced Fat Crescent Rolls, 8 serving (remove)
Egg, fresh, 2 large (remove)
*Egg - Naturegg simply egg whites, 0.5 cup (remove)
*Cheese (No Name Marble Cheddar Cheese), 75 gram (remove)
*Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, .5 cup, chopped (remove)
Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
*Bacon, Kirkland, Sliced Bacon, Naturally Hickory Smoked, Low Sodium (2 slices, 15g), 15 gram (remove)
Tips
I find it best reheated in the toaster oven at work, but lightly microwaved is good too.
Sometimes I will add left over turkey taco meat, black beans and a little salsa for a tex mex breakfast. That's only if I'm going to eat immediately, they tend to get soggy if left over. Add whatever you like!
Directions
*Fry bacon, drain and set aside to cool. Either chop in to small pieces and fry, or crumble after cooking.
*lightly scramble eggs/egg whites, set aside to cool
*lightly saute peppers and mushrooms
*Grate or cut up cheese. (grated gets a little messy)
*unroll crescent dough according to package directions. Stretch dough out a little ( not too thin) Place a but of each of the mixture items in the dough ( or you can just combine this all in a bowl before stuffing) and wrap dough around filling.
Bake until golden.
Eat right away, or refrigerate for a grab and go breakfast.
Serving Size: Makes 8 Breakfast Bundles
