MY CUP OF TEA

Introduction

this is a spicy tea with medical inclinations. this is a spicy tea with medical inclinations.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 quarts water
    3 Tbsp pure honey
    2 green tea bags (black will also work)
    juice of 1 lemon
    6 tsp ginger root

Tips

Ingredients may be increased or decreased to desired strength. I garnish with a mint sprig


Directions

In a two quart stainless pot, bring 6 cups (1-1/2 quarts) water to a boil. While waiting on pot to boil, scrape peel from ginger and grate ginger into water. Remove seeds from lemon and squeeze lemon juice into water. Add honey, stirring to dissolve. Add 2 green tea bags to pot. Once the water has now come to a boil and all ingredients have been added cover and remove from heat. Let stand 15 minutes to steep. Serve hot
