Blackberry Pie w/ homemade crust

Ingredients

    Granulated Sugar, 1 cup
    Blackberries, fresh, 4 cup
    Flour, white, 2 cup + 3 Tbsp
    Salt, .25 tsp
    PC Butter, salted, 2 tbsp
    Lemon juice, 2 tbsp
    Water, tap, 2 fl oz

Tips

I like to paste butter on the outside of the crust to prevent burning and sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture to add some extra sweetness


Directions

Combined berries, sugar, 3 Tbsp flour, butter and lemon juice. Make crust using remaining flour, salt and water. Roll out crust. Pour in berry mixture, top with remaining crust rolled out. Bake @ 450 degrees for 15 minutes, turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake for another 35-40 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 10 slices
