5 cups cranberries
1 orange (for the juice and zest)
2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
enough water that when added to the orange juice, to make 2 cups liquid.
2) Bring everything to a boil, and turn down to medium heat. Stir and boil for 10 minutes.
3) Remove from the heat, and if you want a smooth sauce, mash or puree the berries. Place the sauce into sterilized jars, and close the lids.
4) Process in a hot water bath for about 20 minutes.
5) serve with your favourite meal.
Serving Size: makes about 5 jars with 10 servings per jar.
