Bacon Fried Rice

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup rice, uncooked
    2.5 cups h20
    4 slices bacon
    1 cup frozen corn
    1 cup frozen peas
    1 cup sliced green onions
    2 tbsp soy sauce (I use wheat free soy sauce)

Tips

You can use any meat in place of the bacon. I often used back bacon, or chicken.


Directions

Cook brown rice in water.
Allow rice to cool slightly.
Cook bacon (I cook mine in microwave to get rid of most of the fat)
Cook corn, peas and onions in nonstick pan.
Add bacon and rice. Warm, then add soy sauce and serve.
