Introduction

Ingredients

    2 oz dry weight vermicelli or thin pasta, cooked and drained
    2 garlic cloves, chopped
    1 tsp olive oil
    1 can clam with juice
    1/3 c frozen peas
    1/4 c chicken broth or water
    1/2 tsp dried or fresh herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
    1 tsp light butter or butter substitute
    pepper
    2 tsp dry or fresh parmesan or romano cheese

Tips

This only takes 10 minutes to put together once the pasta is boiling. Cook pasta al dente 5-6 minutes.


Directions

Saute garlic in olive oil until lite brown. Add entire can Clams and juice, Herbs, Pepper, Broth or water, Light Butter, and frozen peas. Heat through to boiling and boil for 3 minutes to reduce and thicken sauce. Add hot cooked pasta and combine. Serve sprinkled with 2 tsp Parmesan or Romano cheese.
