Sesame Beef & Spinach

Submitted by: COXBETH

Introduction

Rice isn’t included in the nutritional information because you can use whatever you like best – white, brown, etc. IN the past we used the Steamfresh chicken flavored rice with a sprinkle of soy sauce mixed in.

Hubs & I both think this is a spectacular meal. Hubs actually gets one the serving and I get half to ensure he gets his protein in.

Nutrition assumes that you have about 1/2 a cup of marinade left over which is thus not consumed. If you have more or less, you'll want to make a modification of the recipe

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

Flank Steak, trimmed and sliced into thin pieces, 1.5lbs
    Sesame Oil, 6 tbsp
    Soy Sauce, 3/4 cup
    Sesame Seeds , 1 tsp
    Spinach, fresh, 3 cups

Directions

1. Marinate flank steak in mixture of sesame oil & soy sauce for 10 – 15 minutes.

2. Head up skillet. Spray with nonstick or use spray on olive oil. Add sesame seeds for 1 – 2 minutes.

3. Add steak & marinate. Stir fry until meat is just done.

4. Remove steak to plate.

5. Plate as follows: rice (not included in calorie count), spinach, steak. I recommend adding soy sauce to the rice before serving if you can take the hit on calories and sodium.

Serving Size: 1/2 of the beef & spinach

Serving Size: makes 2 servings of beef & spinach
