prep fresh ingredients and set in separate bowls.
cook pasta (spiral) and add asparagus to the pot five minutes prior to pasta being cooked. asparagus should be cut to 1/2 diagonal lengths.
drain pasta and asparagus
in a large bowl add the pasta and asparagus and fresh ingredients, mix well.
add sour cream
grate lemon rind and parmesan
add salt and pepper to taste
