Carrot Tofu

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 x 5" usu-age tofu (fried tofu)
    2 T rice vinegar
    2 t sugar
    2 t sake
    2 t soy sauce
    1 t salt
    1 T canola oil
    5 medium carrots, sticks or shredded
    1/3 c toasted and ground white sesame seeds
    2 t toasted sesame seed oil

Directions

Drain, Blanch and cut tofu into strips
Combine vinegar, sugar, sake, soy and salt.
Heat oil on high. Add tofu and carrots and saute 3 minutes (2 if you shredded)
Reduce heat to medium low and add soy mix cook for 2 minutes (1 if shredded) Turn off heat, stir in seeds and drizzle with sesame oil.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings
